Did you know that many health insurance companies cover nutrition counseling? 

 

This is often the case EVEN if you don’t have an actual diagnosis but still want to come in for nutrition counseling for prevention of a disease.

 

If you would like to have your visit paid for by insurance, please verify your benefits to see if they will cover nutrition counseling BEFORE scheduling your visit. Start by reviewing the questions and steps below, and then call the 800 number on the back of your insurance card and ask to speak with a representative. You can use this insurance script to help with this process. Please return the script to us before your first visit (through the client portal, email, or by mail) .
